River salmon and Inbound leads
After going through one of the Modules I was working on, around 4 pm,
I closed my Mac, sat back, put my feet on the bed, took a deep breath,
pulled up my phone, and saw something interesting;
I had received a telegram chat.
“Who could this be?
I’ve never interacted with him before.”
I ignored it.
Put my feet back on the ground.
And checked the group chat with the boys (we’re fucked if that shit gets leaked).
They were roasting some platitudes account. I will not mention who. But you might already know who I’m talking about...
*PLING*
I received another chat, from the same guy.
“What does he want?”
I opened his chat.
“Hey Leon. [A G] gave me your contact. We are looking for an email marketer. You would be responsible for writing 3-4 emails per week, and setting up some email flows and automations. Would you be interested?”
Do you see what happened?
I got an inbound lead (and potential monthly retainer) while studying?
0 outreach done.
If this were to happen to me in January I’d FREAK out.
But—it’s normal now.
And it’s due to one thing;
SYSTEMS
Look.
I’m lazy… sorry… lazy smart.
I hate to work. Hence why… since the day I was born. I’ve always sought the easiest way to do something in the most efficient (or by my definition: “laziest”) way.
Even when I worked at my 9-5. (Where I had to set stuff together)
I put part A in front of me, part B to the left, and the box I was supposed to put the finished product to the right.
Yes. I used some extra time to set this up. But once I “activated” this system, I was finished HOURS before everyone else.
The same applies to my work.
This email?
I’m writing it in Norwegian class. (shits mad boring)
And I’m about to finish it up in 10 minutes.
But—before I decide to close it up. I want to share HOW I managed to set up an inbound lead system and WHY this is the best way to go about it…
The strongest, most valuable, and highest respectable aspect I OWN is my reputation.
EVERYONE knows I do email copy and that I’m the best at it.
Why?
I put in the work at the start to position myself in the right spot.
(Positioning alone is a topic for another email…)
But I’ll share the basics with you…
How did I do it?
I post authority content ALL the time. FLEXING my clients W’s. Flexing my OWN W’s.
And set up all the other elements in order to receive inbound leads as simple as positioning myself at a river where salmon (leads) gets poured down the BIG bucket I hold in front of the river.
Yes. I made it THAT easy.
And not only for myself…
Aron (Owner of MelioraMedias Agency) signed multiple clients and got almost 426 fans who love his work
