Online Possibilities

My teacher gave us some bs questions to discuss.

“What makes a person human?”

I refused to talk about it. So I switched up the theme.

I don’t quite remember how we got there but my friend started telling me about his dream job:

Therapist

Me being the good friend I am, busted out of laughter saying:

“You a therapist? You’d have to pay them back for giving them traumas.”

But then… my head started spitting out question:

“Why not something more? That gives you freedom? Makes you more money?”

He didn’t even think about it… and asnwered in a hear bit:

“I don’t want to be rich. I want to be normal.”

Now look. I didn’t even try to change his belief.

Some people aren’t meant for greatness. They’re meant to be little rats.

But it got me thinking…

This is how the average person thinks.

They WANT to live average lifes.

They WANT to work a 9-5.

Because that’s all they’ve ever known to perceive as a way of living.

Let’s rewind a little bit…

A 9-5 gets a shit ton of hate.

But we have to admit it—it’s essential for a functioning society.

(I need someone to wash my luxury cars)

This doesn’t mean that it can’t be used in a better, more profitable way.

Let’s take my friend’s dream job for example:

How can a therapist make more money?

Bring in more clients—Yes. But that means he has to work more and longer hours + spend money on advertisements and bs like that. And he’d still be geographically locked.

Hmm..

What about doing group sessions?

Now we’re getting there. More clients. More money. Less time spent.

But… he’d still be geographically jailed. Not good.

You probably got to the right answer before I told you:

Build an ONLINE universe

Think about it:

  • Online course

  • Online Videos

  • Online webinars

My friend could share his expertise.

Build an audience over the years and start monetizing them.

He could make a course 1-time and then make it PRINT money on repeat.

All while he is sleeping or whatever he is doing…

But no… a normal life is what he wants.

Look. I’m not gonna hate on a 9-5.

But you need to realize that there is money to be made everywhere.

You have knowledge that you can sell to others because of your 9-5.

Stop thinking about it like a job. Start thinking: “I’m getting paid to learn”.

And that will open new doors for you:

You can leverage your 9-5 and make more and more money until you never need to work again.

Leverage is the name of the game.

Don’t be like my friend. Think bigger.
