Day 9 - Straight to the point
The subject line is the most important part…
but the lead paragraph is the second most important part.
Why?
It decides whether you make a sale.
It’s this part which decides if the reader gets glued or clicks off.
Many noobs start off their copy wrong. By “warming up” the reader.
Look. If they already are inside your newsletter they SHOULD know what it consists off.
Why?
YOU SHOULD HAVE A WELCOME SEQUENCE.
If you don’t. You’re missing out on money.
So. Don’t waste their time telling them about it.
Start SELLING with the very first line of copy.
Sell the idea. The visualization. The TRANSFORMATION.
Change their life.
If you FEEL you have to “warm up” before you can write good copy.
Fine. DO it.
BUT—remove it from your final draft.
The finished copy should sell from start to finish.
